Storm Knocks Out Power To Hundreds In Westchester

More than 200 Westchester residents lost power on Wednesday afternoon as snow began turning to sleet and freezing rain in the area.

Con Edison has reported three outages in Westchester, impacting 205 of the utility company’s 348,198 customers. No NYSEG customers in the county were without power.

The bulk of the late outages were in Peekskill, where 195 customers were temporarily without power. Other outages were reported in North Castle. Con Edison estimates that there will be complete restoration at all municipalities no later than 6:30 p.m.
